AT THE DOOR TODAY – Annual Report For The Year & Meditations
ANNUAL VOTERS MEETING NOTES:
Membership changes approved. Various reports were approved and are included in the Annual Report. Off-going Officers, Nominating & Auditing Committees were thanked. New School Building Committee Chairman Dan Arndt summarized the positive progress & options going forward, emphasizing the committee’s desire to thoroughly research various options before making formal recommendations to the Council and Voters as we look to responsibly pass on the heritage of the gospel to the generations to come. Concerns about low Sunday School attendance were expressed . The future possibility of a midweek Grade 5-6 Bible History class for public school students was discussed. Some of our children are in need of a greater knowledge of even the very basic Bible accounts. The hope was expressed that more of our own members will consider the blessing of Christian education for their children at our St. Paul’s School. Council met following the voters meeting. Various positions on Council and other committees were filled and are listed in the Annual Report. [Two adjustments have been made to the list of officers since the elections and the printing of the Annual Report: Nathanial Kotek instead of Joseph Kinstler under Stewardship-Evangelism, & Kenneth Thompson instead of Dennis Niedfeldt under Finance Committee.]
