Brock Groth

Pastor
Pastor Groth was born and raised in Hastings, MN. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in Chemistry in 2006. After working in R&D for 2 years, he went back to school to become a pastor and completed his Seminary Certification from Martin Luther College in 2010. He married his wife, Heather, in 2011, and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2015. He served as a friendly counselor to India for 2 years before serving at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights, CA, for 4 years. He accepted a call to serve as pastor at St. Paul’s in Bangor in April, 2021, and he began serving in June, 2021.
Favorite Bible Passage: “Indeed, it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).
Julie Arndt

Julie Arndt was born and raised in the Bangor, Wisconsin area. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and was a mainframe computer programmer for 30 years. Companies she worked for include Midwest Security and United Healthcare in Onalaska, WI, while living in Bangor, and also Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee while living in Waukesha, WI. She and her husband Dale live in rural Bangor. Mrs. Arndt enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and sightseeing in the great outdoors. She started her position as Church and School Secretary in April 2025.
Favorite Bible Passage: “Surely God is my salvation. I will trust him and will not be afraid, because Yah, the LORD, is my strength and song, and he has become my salvation” (Isaiah 12:2).
