1 Corinthians 15:51-58 – God’s Easter Gift to You

1 Corinthians 15:51-58 – God’s Easter Gift to You

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Lord of all, if you had remained in the tomb my life and my message as a Christian would be empty and lifeless. Yet because you have risen, I can share a message that is filled with hope and grace and life. Forgive my sins of doubt today, and remind me that I have been given a very meaningful mission from you. Bless my praises in worship and my proclamations to others of your resurrection and what it proves. In your name I pray with joy. Amen.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

FELLOWSHIP HOUR TODAY

We will be having Sunday School in between services today but no Bible study. Instead join us for a fellowship hour with coffee and snacks!

MIDWEEK STUDY

Our midweek Bible study is on the New Testament book of Colossians. The message of Paul’s letter to the Christians in Colossae is summed up in the supremacy of Christ in all things, especially in our salvation. This four-chapter book of the Bible not only strengthens our hope in Christ’s work for us but also our new life in honor of him. Join us on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mornings (same as Tues.).

PRAYERS

This week we keep in our prayers: Barry Wehrs, Brian Berg, Gary and Christa Lemke, Clarice Koltermann, Marcie Richmond, Herb Miller, Kari Roemer, and Kristin Osgood.
