WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.
PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Lord Jesus, my commitment to you does not reach the level you desire, especially as I offer greater commitment to worldly things and even to certain sins. That is why today I pray for your mercy and the assurance that your commitment gives to me. You placed your undivided attention on saving me, so now send your Holy Spirit to create that loving commitment in my heart for you. In your grace I stand and pray confidently. Amen.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
WELCOME OUR NEW MEMBERS
The Lord has blessed us with more brothers and sisters in our church family. Today as they confess their faith before us and express their desire to join our fellowship, we publicly welcome Chuck, Victoria, Liam, Kylie, and James Braun, Danielle Capek, Chad, Crystal, Sadie, and Sophie Kassera, Jeff and Jan Kastenschmidt, Kevin, Jamie, Julieanne, and Kenden Thielker, and Jennifer Young. God be praised for our family of believers!
SUMMER BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
We have started our summer Bible Information Class for those who would like to know more about what we believe and teach, perhaps become members, or even just get a refresher in the foundational truths of Scripture. Classes are on Thursdays at 6:00 pm throughout the summer. Free childcare will be provided. If you missed the first two but would still like to attend, let Pastor Groth know and we get you caught up for the remaining lessons.
SURROUND CARE POSITION @ ST. PAUL’S SCHOOL
Next school year we will be offering surround care (before and after school care) to St. Paul’s students. If you or another WELS member would be interested in serving as surround care helper for the afternoon session (3:00-6:00 pm), please email Pastor Groth (pastor@stpaulsbangor.com) for a job description and with any questions.
THANK YOU FOR HELP WITH MOVING CLASSROOMS
Thank you to those who helped move our classrooms around this summer! The love and dedication of so many to our school has been a great blessing for us!
ST. PAUL’S @ THE COUNTY FAIR
We will be manning the WELS booth at the La Crosse County Fair on Wednesday, July 16th, from 5:00 until about 9:00 pm. If you are able to help visit with passers by and hand out prizes and Bible-related gifts, come on down to the booth for any amount of time you can give. (There might even be some cheese curds in it for you. 😉 ). If you would like to give school supplies, backpacks, or faith-related gifts for the prize wheel, please drop those off in the lobby anytime prior to the 16th.
QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING
Our next quarterly voters’ meeting is scheduled for July 13th, at 11:15 am, in the church basement.
PRAYERS
This week we keep in our prayers: Brian Berg, Gary and Christa Lemke, Clarice Koltermann, Marcie Richmond, Herb Miller, and Liz Michaels.
