Participating in the parade with another group? Join us for our rehearsals for taping! You can be part of two groups at once! One more rehearsal will be held this Wednesday, July 26 – 7:00 p.m. – at the church. Actual recording will take place in August.
QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING is today at 1:00 p.m. downstairs. Items on the agenda include: Scheduling of Christmas and New Year’s services and a proposal to renovate parsonage garage.
MR. ERIC DUVE, our new teacher at St. Paul’s, will be installed on Sunday, August 13 at the start of both services with a special welcome for Mr. & Mrs. Duve between services. A table for non-perishable food and household items, and a card box will be provided in the entry on August 13.
COMPLIMENTARY COPIES of the newly published Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) New Testament & Psalms produced by The Wartburg Project, are still available in the narthex. (The complete Bible with the Old Testament will become available in the fall of 2019, a little over two years from now.)
A GOOD TIME TO THINK IT OVER? Many of the children in our congregation are enrolled at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Perhaps you have thought of enrolling your children in this “handmaiden” to the Christian home. It’s not too late to give it a second thought! Fee assistance is available. Any of our teachers would be happy to answer your questions. Just call our school at 486-2641.
