VOTERS MEETING NOTES – Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) falls on a Sunday this year. Following thorough discussion, the voters determined that there will be regular Sunday services on Dec. 24 at 8 & 10 a.m. and also Christmas Eve services at 4:30 & 6:00 p.m. Christmas Day worship will be at 9:00 a.m. On New Years Eve, which also falls on a Sunday, there will be services at 8 & 10 a.m., but no service that evening. This will only apply to New Years Eve this year. Renovation of parsonage garage was approved. Various options for possible new school continue to be explored.
INTERESTED in marching with the St. Paul’s Reformation 500 float in the Bangor Fun Daze parade? Just show up. Interested in singing “live” or for a recording? Taping will take place at church this Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
MR. ERIC DUVE, our new teacher at St. Paul’s, will be installed on Sunday, August 13 at the start of both services with a special welcome for Mr. & Mrs. Duve between services. A table for non-perishable food and household items, and a card box will be provided in the entry on August 13.
COMPLIMENTARY COPIES of the newly published Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) New Testament & Psalms produced by The Wartburg Project, are still available in the narthex. (The complete Bible with the Old Testament will become available in the fall of 2019, a little over two years from now.)
