2 Corinthians 9:8-11 – God Gives Generous Promises for a Generous Harvest

2 Corinthians 9:8-11 – God Gives Generous Promises for a Generous Harvest

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

TODAY’S WORSHIP THEME
For the next 4 weeks, we’ll see worship themes that show how God blesses and provides for his people. Today we’ll see that God provides for us abundantly. But he doesn’t just do that so we can have what we need. He also does that so we ourselves can be a blessing to those around us.

SCHOOL ACCREDITATION HELP
Do any of the following describe you: Parent of a St. Paul’s school student, former student of St. Paul’s, board member, council member, public school teacher, business person, school or business admin, church member, community-minded resident, or something similar? Our school accreditation committee needs your help. St. Paul’s is seeking accreditation via WELSSA in order to improve the school, its enrollment, its outreach, and its sustainability. A document detailing the type of help needed can be shared with you. If you’re able to help, please contact Dan Arndt or Pastor Groth. 21

NEW USHER SCHEDULE AVAILABLE
St. Paul’s usher schedule is set for August through November 2021. The schedule has been emailed to those who provided email addresses, and printed copies are also available on the table in the narthex. If you cannot usher for your scheduled service, please switch with another who can do so. It’s important that we have enough ushers for each worship service.

NEW COPIES OF WELS PUBLICATIONS
New copies of Meditations and Forward in Christ are available in the narthex. Make sure to grab one on your way out to help stay connected to Christ and his work in our synod.
