Pastor Brock Groth has accepted the call to St Paul’s. On Sunday, April 11, it was announced that Pastor Brock Groth has accepted the Divine Call to be the next Pastor of St. Paul’s.  Please join us in welcoming Pastor Groth as our next Pastor.  More details to follow on installation service and fellowship!

The Stewardship Evangelism Committee will be meeting on Monday, April 26 at 6 pm in the church basement.  

St. Paul’s Ladies Aid will be meeting on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 2 pm in the church basement.  Donna Brown and Lorna Plenge will be serving.

The Luther Knight Athletic Booster club will be holding a Chicken Q at Luther High School on June 1st from 4:00-7:00PM. Meals include 1⁄2 chicken, potato salad, beans, and a roll. Tickets can be purchased through the Luther Athletic department.

Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society Update
What follows is information from the 57 th Annual Convention held last August. This was the first to be held virtually. As of August 2020, LWMS consisted of 816 congregation members and 11 individual memberships. Member dues are $85 per congregation and $40 for individuals. The Mission Projects are listed below with donation amounts.


Hmong Evangelist Training   $41,117.55

Philippine Projects   $41,117.55

Hispanic Outreach   $36,462

Mexico Projects   $36,462

Mission Projects total offering was   $123,114.67

The 58th Annual Convention will be held in Cincinnati Ohio with the theme of “Proclaim God’s Promises’ inspired by 2 Peter 3:3-9. What follows are the Mission Offering Projects for 2021. Each LWMS congregation chooses one home and one world missions. Ballots must be postmarked by May 25 and anyone with input should contact the Ladies Aid reporter at 486-2170

Home Mission Projects We must select one of the two below :

-First Public Service Assistance

-Cross-Cultural Missions

World Mission Project choices. We must select one of the two below:

-Africa Theological Education

-Hmong Outreach in Vietnam
