IN MEMORY of Margaret Gollnik, $800.00 has been given to St. Paul’s Lutheran School and $200.00 to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

NOTES FROM THE VOTERS MEETING – Voters approved nominating committee (Mike Horstman, Mark Larson & Scott Wehrs) which meets Wed. Nov. 2, 7:30 p.m. in Mr. Payne’s room. Finance Committee meets Tues. Nov. 22, 6:30 p.m. downstairs at church to prepare offering envelopes for 2012. Budget for 2012 was adopted – an annual net budget of $406,688.82 (which does not include the projected $23,000.00 in fees paid each year by parents of our students). Thus a weekly net budget of $7,820.94 for 2012. Due to recent shortfalls, no increases were budgeted for Missions, Luther High or salaries.

CONGRATULATIONS! This summer, 2,497 area children ages preschool through high school, signed up for the La Crosse County Library System’s “Go Wild! Read!” summer library programs in Bangor, Campbell, Holmen, Onalaska, and West Salem. St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Bangor won the private school division with 36.4 percent participation.
