WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.
PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Holy Spirit, though Jesus ascended to the right hand of God in heaven, he has not left me alone. Forgive me for the times I fail to remember your presence and your power at work through the Word. As you brought spiritual life and unity to the early church, please bring my heart spiritual life and unity with you and others who hear the Word of God I share. Renew in us the joy of salvation and let that joy come forth today and always. In our Savior’s name I pray. Amen.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
SUMMER BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
We will once again have a summer Bible Information Class for those who would like to know more about what we believe and teach, perhaps become members, or even just get a refresher in the foundational truths of Scripture. Class will start Thursday, June 19th, at 6:00 pm, and will continue each week on Thursday at the same time throughout the summer. Free childcare will be provided.
MONDAY WORSHIP IS HERE
Monday worship is back for the summer at 7:00 pm. It will continue each Monday until August 25th (the Monday before Labor Day).
HELP WITH MOVING CLASSROOMS
We’ve got a big summer planned at our school as we prepare for next school year. We could use your help moving the classroom items around as the floors get waxed. The remaining moving days are Wednesday, June 18th, at 5:00 pm; and Wednesday, June 25th, at 5:00 pm. It would be helpful if our wonderful volunteers had any moving carts or dollies that could aid in moving heavy items. Classrooms and drop zones will be labeled so it will be clear for move out and move in of the classroom materials. Many hands make light work! Thank you in advance for your help!
SURROUND CARE POSITION @ ST. PAUL’S SCHOOL
Next school year we will be offering surround care (before and after school care) to St. Paul’s students. If you or another WELS member would be interested in serving as surround care supervisor (either before or after, or both), please email Pastor Groth (pastor@stpaulsbangor.com) for a job description and with any questions.
BEWARE OF SCAM EMAILS
Scam emails are on the rise and affecting WELS ministries. Just this week a scam email was sent to one of our staff showing the name “Pastor Brock Groth” but not from my email address. The same has been done in other WELS ministries and even “from” district presidents. If you receive an email “from” Pastor Groth, another called worker, or a WELS official, always make sure to check the email address it was sent from. If you have any suspicion that it might be fake, please contact me (608-486-2754) or the person from whom it was supposedly sent.
COULEE REGION OWLS
The Coulee Region Organization of WELS Lutheran Seniors (OWLS) will be holding their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Avenue South, La Crosse, at 12:00 Noon for a potluck luncheon. Please bring a dish to pass, your own table service, and coffee will be provided. The program will be Coral Cady-Metcalfe speaking about the work of WELS Kingdom Workers with a special focus on Indonesia. All church members – men and women age 55 or older – are welcome. Please come for a visit, enjoy the friends you meet, a good lunch, and an excellent program. There will be a free will offering.
CONCERT AT FAITH IN BLACK RIVER FALLS
Faith Lutheran Church of Black River Falls would like to invite you to a Christian concert by His Way, a WELS band from the Milwaukee area. This will be a part of Black River Falls’ concert in the park series at the Lunda Community Park (1400 Tyler St, Black River Falls, WI 54615). It is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, at 7 pm. There is no cost. For more information on the concert, check out Faith’s website: www.faithwels.com.
