Pastor Daniel Frey – called to St Paul’s
At the call meeting on Sunday, February 14, 2021, the congregation extended a Call to Pastor Daniel Frey who serves at Gethsemane Lutheran in Lees Summit, MO to be our pastor. A Divine Call has been placed to Mr. Christopher Denney to serve as a teacher/vice principal for Grades 3-4 at our St. Paul’s School. Mr. Denney, 37, has served previously at Our Saviour in Lake Havasu City, AZ and currently serves at Bethany Lutheran School in Port Orchard, WA. His wife, Katie, also teaches at Bethany Lutheran School and they have 3 children. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he deliberates this Call.
Martin Luther College senior Michaela Johnson will be presenting her Senior Organ Recital, a musical tour of the Christian church year, on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 3 pm. The program will include pieces by Bach, d’Aquin, Mendelssohn, Manz, Preston, and others. In-person attendance will be limited to the MLC campus family. Lenten Services begin this week and will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm only starting February 17, 2021. No 9 am services due to COVID/low attendance and Pastor scheduling. Easter Services will be at 7:30 am and 9:30 am.
