EDUCATION COMMITTEE & CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES
Quarterly Voters Meeting is next Sunday, July 8, 1:00 p.m. downstairs. Past editions of Meditations for outreach have been provided by Northwestern Publishing House at no cost except for shipping to be distributed at the Fun Daze Parade in connection with our church float. Pre-orders for next summer’s publication of the entire EHV Bible will be placed sometime this month. Various school projects in preparation for the new school year were outlined. Those wishing to volunteer in various areas at school in the coming year should contact Mr. Bakken. Faculty planning meeting for the new school year is Thurs. July 26. Annual fix-up/clean-up night at school is Wed. Aug. 15, 6 p.m.The Council proposed an initial list of names for a building committee for research, fact gathering and eventual planning for a potential new school. Those suggested will be contacted to see if they are willing to serve. All faculty members will be considered advisory members to the committee. All members of our congregation will be invited to offer their input once the committee is formed. The specific areas the committee needs to address will be outlined at the Aug. meeting.
