WITH THE LORD – Betty Dow passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86. Funeral services were held yesterday here at the Church.

IN MEMORY of Earl Pralle $600.00 has been given to the Home Fund.

CONFIRMATION ALTAR FLOWERS are placed by Sunshine Committee of the St. Paul’s Ladies Aid.

A DIVINE CALL has been extended by our voters to Mr. Michael Schulz to serve as our Principal and 7-8 Teacher. Mr. Schulz currently serves at Bethlehem Lutheran School in Hortonville, WI. Please keep him in your prayers as we await his decision.

CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES The New School Fund Balance currently stands at approximately $56,000.00. From our St. Paul’s Luther High Tuition Assistance Fund, $200.00 was allotted to each of the 9 students from St. Paul’s who plan to attend Luther High next school year. The money is sent to Luther to be directly applied to their account. Ongoing donations to this fund each year are greatly appreciated. Education Committee reports that over $100,000 in Scrip gift cards were purchased this fiscal year resulting in $9,000 going into the Ed. Committee discretionary fund for school expenses. Scrip Order forms are on the table in the entry of the Church. Results of the School Facility survey are being examined and a congregational informational meeting will eventually be held to discuss the results. Mr. Payne will be leaving for Newburg in mid June. A farewell for him will be conducted in connection with the PTS Spring Play at School, May 18, 7:00 p.m. A box will be available for cards, etc. Council conducted the annual inspection of the Church property. It is hoped the south stairs project will be undertaken this summer.
