LENTEN SERVICES
Lent is coming up! Beginning with Ash Wednesday on March 2, we’ll be having one midweek Lenten service each week on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. The theme for this year’s midweek services is The Crucial Hours. The series ponders key words and moments from the account of Jesus’ passion that demonstrate the thorough completeness of his saving work for us, the breadth and depth of his love for us, and the strength of his union with us.
NEW BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
STARTS TOMORROW! St. Paul’s next Bible Information Class will begin in February and be completed by the end of May. If you or someone you know is interested in membership, in our church’s teachings, or simply in a refresher of important biblical truths, this is the class to take. The classes will take place on Monday evenings starting Feb. 21. Please contact Pastor Groth if interested or if you would like more info. NEW MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY
For our next midweek Bible study, we’ll go through the book of Zechariah with all of its visions and imagery and gospel-filled prophecy. The study begins 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 22, and 9:00 am on Wednesday, February 23.

Please also make sure to include your last name on the front and first names on the back for communion (otherwise we have no idea).

WELS COULEE WOMEN’S RETREAT
The 2022 WELS Coulee Women’s Retreat will be April 2, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church in West Salem. This retreat provides an opportunity for WELS/ELS women and their friends to gather together, encourage each other with God’s Word, and go forth to share God’s Word with others. Registration forms and itinerary are available online at www.facebook.com/WCWRetreat (you may have to request to join the Facebook group). Register by March 15 (there’s a discount for early registration by February 15).
GOFUNDME FOR LUTHER STUDENT
David Chase, a freshman at Luther, was recently diagnosed with a tennis ball size tumor in the middle left of his brain. A GoFundMe account (a site that facilitates charitable giving) has been established to help the family with expenses.
