LADIES AID meets on the last Thursday of each month. The September 28th meeting is at 2:00 p.m. Bible study is a part of each meeting. Visitors and new members are welcome! The Ladies invite your participation. NO pressure to serve as an officer or on a special committee.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE & CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES
Harvest-Mission Festival will be observed Sun. Sep. 24 in both services. Reformation 500 Service is in Madison, Sun. Oct. 29, 4 p.m. at Alliant Energy Center Coliseum. See poster in entry. Budget Committee meets Wed. Sept. 13, 7:00 p.m. at school. Budget Committee will take into account Mrs. Schmeling’s planned retirement as pre-school teacher at the close of this school year and prepare two possible budgets – one for a two-day pre-school teacher – and one for a possible return to a full time-position. The Council will review both scenarios for presentation to the voters on Sun. Oct. 22. On a Sunday prior to that, an open informational forum will be held between services to brief all our members on school staffing, etc. with opportunity for questions & answers. Date will be announced. THANKS to all the volunteers at church & school recently!

HOSTS NEEDED! On November 10 – 12, Luther High will be hosting the 50th WELS Choral Festival at the La Crosse Center. We couldn’t do it without volunteers like you! We at St. Paul’s are hosting Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School of Denver, CO. If you are interested in hosting some of these young people for the weekend of Nov.10-12 OR for more information contact Sara Stratman 486-4735.
