James 5:1-11 – The Judge Is at the Door!

James 5:1-11 – The Judge Is at the Door!

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Lord of Armies, everything in this world is yours. Help me see my sin today in the times I forget that I am simply caring for the things you have given me. Wash me in the blood of your Son, the most precious thing I have in all the world, also given graciously by you. Refocus me on the ways I can honor you with the earthly treasures in my care. In the Righteous One I pray. Amen.

HELP ST. PAUL’S FINANCIALLY WITH SCRIP

Purchase gift cards to pay for everyday (and not-so-everyday) expenses. Anyone can purchase the cards and then you designate who gets the scrip credit. You can designate a specific family or the credit will go to the general fee assistance fund (75% of the profit that our school receives from the sale of each card will be directly applied to any student’s tuition, with the other 25% to our school’s Discretionary Fund to help cover general school needs as well as fund to be able to have gas/grocery cards on hand). Families will then be able to use the credit that was built up over the year (July 1 – June 30) and can choose to apply that credit towards next school year’s tuition.

Paper order forms are located in the church entryway and the scrip box is located in the basement. There is also a scrip box at school outside the office. Orders are due the 15th of each month. You can also order through the RaiseRight app. You would need to contact Janel to get our school enrollment code to get connected.

Any questions please contact Janel Lochen 608-386-4243 or scrip@stpaulsbangor.com
