EDUCATION COMMITTEE & CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES
As announced on Wednesday, Mr. John Martin III has declined our Call to serve as teacher of grades 2-3 and athletic director. Council met on Wednesday evening and submitted a request through the District President for a teacher from the graduating class of Martin Luther College. (Assignment day is May 17). Mr. James Lockman is setting aside his duties on Ed. Comm. & Council in order to focus on his family responsibilities at this time. The Council is grateful for his 3 plus years of service.
EASTER LILIES – Those wishing to help beautify the sanctuary with Easter lilies next Sunday may drop them off in the church basement on Thurs., Fri. or Sat.
EASTER BREAKFAST – Those who wish to donate coffee cakes for the Easter breakfast may bring them this Sat. Apr. 19. There will be no sign-up sheet this year. Help with set up at 9 a.m. will also be appreciated.
