CALL NEWS – We were informed by the District President that, along with several other schools in our synod, we were not assigned a teacher from Martin Luther College due to a shortage of graduates. The Church Council will meet at 9:10 a.m. this morning at the parsonage.

ORGAN SERVICE – Next Sunday, May 25, organist Rev. Charles Bonow will present an organ worship service entitled “Here We Stand” as part of our Sunday services (8 & 10 a.m.) This service concert will begin with a devotion on the Word of God followed by Scripture readings entwined with organ solos and congregational singing of our well-loved hymns of faith. A patriotic hymn-sing will conclude the service to mark the Memorial Day weekend. Rev. Bonow is a former parish pastor whose ministry of music is now the presentation of service concerts each week in WELS congregations throughout the country. He and his wife are members of St. John’s, Lewiston, MN. Since this is his life’s work and means of support for himself and his family, the Church Council has authorized a door collection.

PASTOR & MRS. HEFTI will be in Milwaukee from Thursday night until Saturday visiting family. If there is a need to contact Pastor on those days, please call Mrs. Hefti’s cell: (608) 792-8356.
