DIVINE CALL EXTENDED – On Tuesday evening this past week, a Call was extended to Pastor Kyle Bitter of  St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa, WI to serve as the next pastor of St. Paul’s, Bangor.  Pastor Bitter is 35 years old and single.  He has served at St. John’s, Wauwatosa since 2013.  Please remember him in your prayers as he deliberates.

EDUCATION COMMITTTEE & CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES
To be certain that the renovated school is ready and prepared to safely receive our students, the Education Committee & Church Council, after consulting the our Building Chairman and the contractor, decided to delay the opening of school until Monday, September 14, 8:00 a.m.   Thanks were expressed to our building chairman, Mr. Dan Arndt, for his tireless leadership throughout the process, and to ALL the volunteers who are working so hard in the past months to make the building truly prepared.  The Budget Committee will meet Wed. Sept. 16, 7:00 p.m. at the church.  Following a free inspection of the church roof by Great Lakes Roofing, full estimates are awaited before any further action.  Various items regarding the parsonage and the pastor’s upcoming move were noted by pastor.  Council will have an opportunity for a walk-through on Sept. 16, at 6:00 p.m.
