Wisconsin School Choice Program
St. Paul’s is moving forward to become eligible for the Wisconsin School Choice Program.     (WSCP) We have learned this can be a tremendous economic benefit to our school and parents, without giving up control of our school. It will not jeopardize our core values or mission. Many of our surrounding WELS schools are already in the program. Others are in the process of enrolling. Once a child is found eligible for School Choice funds, the eligibility carries forward and will benefit members attending Luther High as well. (over)

The first step is to have St. Paul’s initiate the Accreditation process. This can be a demanding task. We are forming an Accreditation Committee in order to “spread the workload” and proceed efficiently. If any of you would be interested in helping in this important endeavor, please contact President Dan Arndt at 608 269 1200 or dana@arndtbuswellthorn.com or Education Committee Chairman Ben Hoth at 608 386 9868 or hoth883@gmail.com.

Mark Your Calendars!
May 23 – Farewell for Mr. Duve and family! An official farewell for Mr. & Mrs. Duve & Emma will take place in between services, weather permitting, outside in the Church parking lot. As they prepare for the big move, we bid them a fond farewell. Mr. Duve is following the Lord’s Call to Madison, WI where he will serve as Teacher of Grade 4 there. Mr. Duve has faithfully served in that same capacity teaching Grades 3-4 here at St. Paul’s, Bangor for the past 4 years. We are grateful for his faithful service. May the Duve family be blessed and be a blessing to Eastside Lutheran in Madison. A box will be available for cards, etc.

Gift Card “Shower” for Pastor Groth and Family
An “update” on the traditional Food Shower for a new Pastor and his family, St. Paul’s would like to do a Gift Card shower for the Groth’s to be presented at the Reception dinner. Several options to consider: 1) Purchase via Scrip Program individually; 2) Special Offering Envelope/Online Offering for group order via Scrip (spread evenly across several area grocery stores); 3) Purchase individually from restaurant/store. Contact Treasurer Jeff Parr with any questions.
