EDUCATION COMMITTEE & CHURCH COUNCIL NOTES
As we await final plans & bids for renovation, various subcontracting options and volunteer tasks were explored. Mrs. Trisha Engelbrecht is deliberating the Divine Call we have extended to her to teach Grades 1-2. A few minor maintenance issues at school were addressed. Historical Society is agreeable to our use of their building for Sunday School classes starting in the fall (at a very nominal fee), thereby reducing “travel” time on both ends to gain more class time. This option will be presented to the voters in April. Mr. John Byus from Luther High will give a presentation between services on Sunday, February 23 on the main floor.

LOOKING AHEAD TO LENT The Lenten season in 2020 begins on Ash Wednesday, February 26. There will again be two opportunities to worship on each of the six Wednesdays of Lent – 9:00 a.m. & 7:00 p.m. Please plan to join us!
