During the outbreak of the COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) we are doing our best to bring the good news of our Savior to as many as possible by means of live streaming on our website ( and on Facebook.

Nursing homes and hospitals are restricting regular access at this time.  For the safety of everyone and for the protection of our shut-ins, usual pastoral visits will be delayed.  In urgent circumstances, do not hesitate to phone the pastor (486-2754) and he will be happy to minister to you on a personal basis.

All 7th & 8th Grade Confirmation students should focus on learning the 4 parts of Holy Communion  (Pages 13-14) in the Catechism at this time and reading through pages 350-373 in preparation for eventual live stream or in-person further instruction. Lenten sermon notes can be taken by listening to the online Wed. sermons and submitted by email photo or in person at a future date.   Stay tuned for eventual information on how we will handle examination and confirmation.

IN MEMORY of Betsy Young, $250.00 has been given for the support St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

IN MEMORY of Mildred Bjorkman, $1,200.00 has been given for upgrading the equipment for online streaming, webcast, and shut-in ministry.

Our online giving app is now up and running!  Simply go the home page at and click on the offering button. We are also receiving offerings by mail, or as you may wish, by bringing offering envelopes to the parsonage. Our treasurer will make deposits twice a week.  Please check our website for updates on various matters.

Fellow Redeemed:
Governor Evers has announced a ban on all gatherings of more than 10 people and extended school closings indefinitely.  Like other WELS churches in our area, we now have no choice but to discontinue regular church gatherings until further notice.   We are now live streaming worship services at the usual times to our website at  These live services are also being saved and archived on our website and Facebook. You may also view many past services which are archived on our website.  You may also wish to make use of the Lutheran Radio Service, Sundays at 8:00 am on WKTY, 580 AM or Time of Grace TV Service, Sundays at 7:00 am on WKBT, Cable channel 7.

We pray that this pandemic may, by God’s grace, soon pass over our country and others, that God in His mercy will spare the lives of the suffering, and that we may resume our regular worship services.  It may well be that an unintended consequence of this crisis could be a renewed appreciation for the privilege of gathering in worship around word and sacrament.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Hefti
