During the outbreak of the COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) we are doing our best to bring the good news of our Savior to as many as possible by means of live streaming on our website (www.stpaulsbangor.com) and on Facebook. 

PASTORAL VISITATIONSNursing homes and hospitals are restricting regular access at this time.  For the safety of everyone and for the protection of our shut-ins, usual pastoral visits will be delayed.  In urgent circumstances, do not hesitate to phone the pastor (486-2754) and he will be happy to minister to you on a personal basis. 

CONFIRMATION INSTRUCTION
All 7th & 8th Grade Confirmation students should focus on learning the 4 parts of Holy Communion  (Pages 13-14) in the Catechism at this time and reading through pages 350-373 Students have been contacted by email and the pastor has already sent a video lesson to them.  Lenten sermon notes can be taken by listening to the online Wed. sermons and submitted by email photo or in person at a future date.   Stay tuned for eventual information on how we will handle examination and confirmation.

OFFERINGS & FINANCES GOING FORWARD
Our online giving app is now up and running!  Simply go the home page at www.stpaulsbangor.com and click on the offering button. We are also receiving offerings by mail, or as you may wish, by bringing offering envelopes to the parsonage. Our treasurer will make deposits twice a week.  Please check our website for updates on various matters.

BAPTISM – Natalie Rae Williams, daughter of Neil & Siera Williams, was received into the kingdom of God’s grace by the washing of water and the Word in a private rite on Thursday afternoon.

IN MEMORY Marie Betsinger $500.00 has been given to the St. Paul’s School Renovation Fund and $85.00 to the General Fund.

IN GRATITUDE TO GOD for the webcast service, $100.00 has been given to the Webcast Fund.

WELS YOUTH RALLY for this summer has been cancelled.

PROVIDING HOLY COMMUNION in a “rotating” manner during various blocks of time on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday will be discussed at the Council meeting this Wednesday.

A NOTE REGARDING SCHOOL RENOVATION
The Building Committee will meet on April 13th at 7:00 p.m. at school to open the bids and make its recommendation to a special Council Meeting on April 15th at 7:00 p.m. at school.  The Council will in turn make its recommendation to the Voter’s Assembly (tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m.  Stay tuned for any revised time or place.) 

NOTE:  Until regular services resume, we will keep a running total of the General Fund offerings received in various ways.  Once regular services resume, we will publish the Budget to that date, and the Received to that date.  Attendance figures will not be recorded during this time, but we are grateful to see large numbers logging in to watch our livestream services.
