John 6:51-58 – Eat and Drink Jesus and You’ll Live Forever

John 6:51-58 – Eat and Drink Jesus and You’ll Live Forever

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

TODAY’S WORSHIP THEME
This is week 4 of our look at God’s providence. God gives us earthly blessings, he gives us spiritual blessings, he causes our faith in Christ to grow, and today we see the end result of all of those blessings. God nourishes us in Christ so that we can live with him forever. Thanks to our Savior we have eternal life.

Today’s service will also serve as our School Opening Service as we focus on Christ and ask for his blessings upon another school year ahead. One of those blessings is our new teacher, Mrs. Clara Handy, who will be installed in the 10:00 am service. May the Lord bless our teachers as they share Christ with their students that they, too, can be nourished unto eternal life in him.

VISITATION TEAM

Interested in helping to build up some St. Paul’s members? Many members are not able to make it to worship or fellowship events at church. But like all Christians, they still need encouragement from and a connection to their brothers and sisters in the faith. St. Paul’s will be putting together a visitation team for just that purpose. If you’re interested in being a part of this ministry, please contact Pastor Groth or Stewardship-Evangelism chairman Dale Arndt. Families are welcome, too!
