PREPARING TO PROCLAIM CHRIST is an outreach/evangelism workshop for any of our members who are seeking ways to reach out to the unchurched and those who have wandered from the gospel. Those in our area WELS churches are invited to attend this opportunity at Christ Lutheran, West Salem, Sat. Oct. 12, 9 am – Noon.

HARVEST-MISSION FESTIVAL will be observed next Sunday in both Services (8 & 10 a.m.) Our guest preacher will be Pastor Joel Neumann of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church of Black River Falls and Cataract. Pastor Neumann also serves in our WELS prison ministry in that area. He will give a brief presentation between services on the main floor, focusing on that area of mission work. Church will be open on Saturday for those who wish to bring flowers & produce to beautify the sanctuary for this observance.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sunday School is held each Sunday during the school year from 9:10 – 9:50 a.m. We will be listing the enrollment and the actual weekly attendance as a reminder that parents who do not send their children to our Lutheran Elementary School will surely want to provide their children with this weekly opportunity to learn the ABC’s of Bible History and Doctrine Our Sunday School is also a mission arm of our congregation for children. As your children bring a friend to Sunday School, why not invite that friend’s parents to also attend church with you?

GRANDPARENTS DAY at St Paul’s School is Tuesday, October 22. Our “seasoned” members are invited to attend this special day. Please call Mrs. Manke at school, 486-2641, by THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 to reserve a spot.
