Dear Members of St. Paul’s: Here is some information you may wish to save and keep handy at home for the coming weeks:
CHRISTMAS EVE PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practices will be held on: Monday, December 19th from 8:15 – 9:45 and Thursday, December 22nd from 8:15 – 9:45 at the church. This practice is for all St. Paul’s Grade School students and all Sunday School students. Children attending Bangor elementary and middle school will be transported to and from their respective school building on Monday. Parents may drop off students at the church if they wish. On Thursday, Bangor Public Schools do not have school and St. Paul’s will be in session. Parents will be responsible for transportation of their child(ren) to the Church for rehearsal. All are
asked to be at this all important final rehearsal.
PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS must have a parental permission slip in order to be excused from Elementary or Middle School classes on Monday for Christmas Eve practice. That slip should be turned in to the appropriate public school principal’s office. These permission
slips are being made available at Sunday School.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
NOTE THE TIME FOR CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
Due to the low numbers in Kindergarten, Pre-school students are requested to stay for BOTH services. Please remember that all other students are expected to attend BOTH services on Christmas Eve. The sermon of God’s Gift to mankind is being presented by the children at 5:30 and 7:00 P.M. If several children from a class attend only one service, it is difficult to present the service with the same quality as is possible when all of the children who have practiced are present. Thank you for your cooperation.
