QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING NOTES: Various printed reports from the voters meeting are available in the narthex. The Budget for 2017 was adopted by the voters. (An annual net budget of $465,232.70, which means a weekly net budget of $8,946.78. “Net” budget does not include the approximately $29,000.00 received from the parents of our school children in annual fees, etc.). Nominating Committee was approved: Jeff Anderson, Todd Manke, Don Peterson. The bequest of $213,775.15 from the Renata Bushek estate has been placed in a money market and voters will give further input at the annual meeting in January. Christmas Day and New Years Day both fall on Sundays this year. The voters determined, as was done the last time this occurred, that there will be regular Sunday service times on those days at 8:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. (No Bible study between services on those days.) New Years Eve Communion service will be held on Sat. Dec. 31 at 7:00 p.m. An update on the Wartburg Project was given: This summer, God-willing, a paperback edition of The Holy Bible: Evangelical Heritage Edition (New Testament & Psalms) by the Wartburg Project will be published by Northwestern Publishing House and made available to the public. Progress on the Old Testament of the EHV is well underway.
