WITH THE LORD – Edwin Niedfeldt passed away Friday, February 3 at the age of 95. Services were at the church this past Wednesday.

ALTAR FLOWERS are placed by Vernon & Ardice Urbanek in gratitude to God for their 55th wedding anniversary.

A BEQUEST was received this past week from the estate of Leo C. Friske in the amount of $80,230.00.

Rise Up & Build highlights for the second week of February: Industrial Shop floor sealed; Classroom occupancy permission expected from Fire Chief; Painting & flooring completed in Lobby; Classroom punch list items addressed. Mrs. Rebecca Lussky, Spanish teacher at Luther High for the past 22 years, has announced her retirement at the close of the current school year. Mrs. Lussky’s cancer has recurred. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as she undergoes treatment. Mr. Mahnke is currently considering a Call to Martin Luther College. Luther Lunch Program is in need of a kitchen worker. Minimum food preparation, serving meals, general kitchen clean up, 10:30 a.m,. – 1:00 p.m. Contact Mr. Heinze at 783-5435, ext. 1130. Rise Up & Build Volunteers Needed Saturday, February 18 and Saturday, February 25 starting at 9:00 am each day. We will be building the stage floor in the new Chapel/Auditorium and many hands can make light work of it. If carpentry is not your thing we will also have painting and cleaning projects to work on.
