IN GRATITUDE TO GOD for their 25th wedding anniversary, Todd & Gwen Manke have placed today’s altar flowers and have donated $250.00 to the General Fund and $250.00 to the New School Fund.

THANKS! to all those who helped with our Family Vacation Bible School this past week. 42 souls attended (34 adults & 8 children).

NEW USHER SCHEDULES are now available in the narthex.

ADULT CLASS – If you or someone you know is interested in instruction toward church membership, please call pastor at 486-2754.

QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING is Sunday, July 23, 1:00 p.m. downstairs.

MR. ERIC DUVE, our new teacher at St. Paul’s, will be installed on Sunday, August 13 at the start of both services.

INFO on Annual Dr. Raabe Golf Tourney is posted downstairs.

NEW SERMON SERIES – Next week we will finish “gathering up the fragments” in our sermon series on the Gospel of Luke (We covered the final three chapters during the Lenten-Easter season). On Sunday, July 9, we will begin a sermon series on Paul’s two letters to the Thessalonians, making use of the Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV).

A GOOD TIME TO THINK IT OVER? Many of the children in our congregation are enrolled at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Perhaps you have thought of enrolling your children in this “handmaiden” to the Christian home. It’s not too late to give it a second thought! Fee assistance is available. Any of our teachers would be happy to answer your questions. Just call our school at 486-2641.

COMPLIMENTARY COPIES of the newly published Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) New Testament & Psalms produced by The Wartburg Project, are still available in the narthex. (The complete Bible with the Old Testament will become available in the fall of 2019, a little over two years from now.) Inside the volume is a reading schedule which will take you through the New Testament in 90 days. Here is a summer challenge – a few chapters a day – and you can familiarize yourself with this fresh translation produced by over 100 WELS & ELS pastors, professors and other scholars.
