A GOOD TIME TO THINK IT OVER? Many of the children in our congregation are enrolled at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Perhaps you have thought of enrolling your children in this “handmaiden” to the Christian home. It’s not too late to give it a second thought! Fee assistance is available. Any of our teachers would be happy to answer your questions. Just call our school at 486-2641.
COMPLIMENTARY COPIES of the newly published Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) New Testament & Psalms produced by The Wartburg Project, are still available in the narthex. (The complete Bible with the Old Testament will become available in the fall of 2019, a little over two years from now.) Inside the volume is a reading schedule which will take you through the New Testament in 90 days. As a summer challenge, try reading a few chapters a day to familiarize yourself with this fresh translation by over 100 WELS & ELS pastors, professors and other scholars.
