Luke 7:11-17 – The Lord of Life Overcomes Death

Luke 7:11-17 – The Lord of Life Overcomes Death

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Lord Jesus, your compassion for me moved you to lay down your life for me. Show me the ways I can follow your compassionate example for the sake of my ministering to those around me. Forgive me for the times I lack a loving heart, and refresh me in the pastures of your Word as I remember your shepherding me through all things, even death. In your name I pray. Amen.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANK YOU FOR COUNTY FAIR BOOTH

Thank you to those who helped out at the county fair booth on Wednesday and to those who donated school supplies for the prizes. May the Lord bless our conversations and help us make new connections with people who need his grace.

THANK YOU FROM THE FACULTY

The faculty of St. Paul’s would like to thank everyone who assisted in moving the classroom items out of and then back into the classrooms. Your help has been sincerely appreciated.

THANK YOU FROM CJ HAVENS

Thanks to several persons and the Ladies Aid for caring and contributing to make the trip possible to Colorado for the WELS Youth Rally in June. It was much appreciated and made me proud to represent St. Paul’s Bangor. The rally was interesting, informative, and most certainly enjoyable. Hopefully when the next one is scheduled someone will be interested and helped like I was. Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Christopher Havens
