MONDAY WORSHIP this week is being conducted by Seminarian Lloyd Harter while Pastor Hefti is at District Convention in Watertown. Mr. Harter has completed his first year at our Seminary. We thank him for his service.

IN GRATITUDE TO GOD for her 97th birthday, Renata Bushek has donated $100.00 to the New School Building Fund. (This voter-approved fund is for the eventual building of a new school. The fund is invested in the same manner as our church and school endowment funds. It is not available for internal borrowing. In the event (may the Lord graciously prevent it) that our congregation could no longer operate a school, the fund would be released back to the church.

A NEW ADULT INSTRUCTION CLASS toward church membership is planned for after Labor Day. If you or someone you know is interested, call the pastor (486-2754).

FAMILY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran School on June 18, 19, 20 (Tues. Wed. Thurs.), 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Sign-up sheets are in the entry to get an approximate head count. This year’s topic: “What The Bible Says About Angels: The Good, The Bad & The Unique.” Cookies and refreshments are served during the three evenings of our Family Vacation Bible School. THE SCOTT HERMAN FAMILY is in need of some help with meals. They are requesting 5:30 delivery on Wednesday nights to their house. If you wish to sign up or have other questions, please contact Tina Langrehr 486-4131.

STAFF CHANGES – With the retirement of Mrs. Larson, and with the departure of Mr. Nielsen who has accepted a Call to Zion, Monroe, MI, there will be two new staff members next school year. Mrs. Beth Schmeling has accepted our Call to teach preschool and Mr. Justin Wiechmann has accepted our Call to teach grades 2-3 and serve as athletic director. Mrs. Manke will teach K-1, Miss Bauer will teach 4, 5 & 6, and Mr. Payne will teach 7-8.

PASTOR’S VACATION is planned for July 2-10 in California. Pastor Paul Stuebs will conduct services here July 7-8.
