Psalm 51:18-19 – Death has Lost Its Sting

Psalm 51:18-19 – Death has Lost Its Sting

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
Lord God Almighty, I have no reason to fear death thanks to you and the Savior you sent for me. Let me hear your proclamation and proof today that Jesus Christ has conquered sin and death and has freely given me the victory. Let my voice ring out in song as I praise you and wonderful works, especially the resurrection of my Redeemer. In his name I praise you with all my heart, O God. Amen.

EASTER BREAKFAST!

Join us in the basement for an Easter breakfast between services, even if you didn’t RSVP beforehand! What a blessed fellowship we share in the resurrected Christ thanks to our God who provides all things for us!

THANK YOU

A big thank you to PACE and all those who helped out with the bake sale and Easter Egg Hunt. And another big thank you to the Hoth families and Ruth Elsen for preparing our Easter breakfast this morning. The Lord sees and appreciates your love-filled service to his people!

NO MIDWEEK STUDY THIS WEEK

This week we will take a break from our midweek Bible study. We will return to the study on April 29th and 30th.

MIDWEEK STUDY

Our midweek Bible study is on the New Testament book of Colossians. The message of Paul’s letter to the Christians in Colossae is summed up in the supremacy of Christ in all things, especially in our salvation. This four-chapter book of the Bible not only strengthens our hope in Christ’s work for us but also our new life in honor of him. Join us on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mornings (same as Tues.).
