Psalm 51:3-4 – Recognizing Against Whom We Sin

Psalm 51:3-4 – Recognizing Against Whom We Sin

WELCOME TO WORSHIP
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus.

PRAYER IN PREPARATION FOR TODAY’S WORSHIP
King of creation, I have rebelled against you in thought, word, and deed. I have sinned far more than I even realize, and every sin is against you, my Creator, Preserver, and Savior. Wash me in the blood of Jesus, and pronounce my forgiveness to me for Jesus’ sake. Ever point me to his atoning sacrifice as my only hope for justification and as my strength in repentance. In Him I pray. Amen.
