The purpose of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran School is not only to aid parents in bringing up their children for a useful life as citizens of this world, but especially to direct the students’ attention to their lasting citizenship in heaven and to lead them to boldly confess Christ to others.

St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran School is a Christian elementary school maintained by the congregation to serve as an agency to assist parents in the Christian training of their children.  The Lord, through his Word, has bound the Christian home and church together as one unit with one and the same aim when he said:  “These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).  Christian parents continue this God-given responsibility when they send their children to school.  The school is to serve and to assist parents in this responsibility.
